Introduction

A long, tree-lined drive leads to the Barn at Rye Hill which is in the centre of a 400 acre farm, surrounded by spectacular scenery on the edge of the rolling Wiltshire Downs. This 18th Century barn has been recently and sympathetically renovated, to be used for civil weddings (licensed) and wedding receptions, parties and conferences.

The Barn is conveniently located between Bath and Salisbury; about 2 hours drive from London with a direct service from Warminster station. There are several local hotels, B&Bs, pubs and we can offer a self-contained 2 bedroom flat, sleeping 4, next to The Barn, which many have found a popular and useful option. Nearby tourist attractions include Longleat and Stourhead.

The Barn can accommodate a maximum 150 seated or 250 standing guests. Functions from formal to very informal can be tailored to suit individual requirements with the help of excellent local caterers. The Barn includes a separate food preparation area, a licensed bar, full access for the disabled and almost unlimited parking. There is a mature walled garden and orchard included in the package, for drinks “al fresco” and photographs. Children, dogs and confetti are all warmly welcomed.
